Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Chain of Thought platform and any related services (collectively, "the Service") operated by COT Research Pte Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and are not barred from using the Service under the laws of Singapore or any other applicable jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription converts automatically to a paid monthly plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All fees are stated in United States Dollars and are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain Pro access until that date.

Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise COT Research Pte Ltd to charge the applicable subscription fee on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

4. Use of the Service

The Service provides data, indices, and analysis relating to AI infrastructure markets. All content is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading, or legal advice. You should seek independent professional advice before making any financial decisions. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to proprietary indices (CTI, MTI, ANPI, PTI), data compilations, analysis, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to COT Research Pte Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
  • Share your account credentials with any third party;
  • Use the Service to provide a competing data or analytics product;
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. COT Research Pte Ltd does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data and indices will be accurate, complete, or current. Market data is sourced from third parties and COT Research Pte Ltd is not responsible for errors in source data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, COT Research Pte Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

In any event, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless COT Research Pte Ltd and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

COT Research Pte Ltd may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, without prior notice and without liability. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
